This study will follow the following plan: consideration of the essence of the functions and objectives of bank management, the study of country characteristics and trends of bank management, a study of bank management of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the study of the stages of formation of the Kazakh banking system, a study of the modern state and analyzing the institutional structures bank management system in Kazakhstan, the assessment of a bank in Kazakhstan, summarizing. Research question: What are the problems faced by the National Bank of Kazakhstan to manage and what are the possible perspectives of its development? The object of study and the current state of development bank management on the example of a bank in Kazakhstan. Subject of study is bank management. The carried out analysis of development of bank system in Republic Kazakhstan, has allowed to draw following conclusions. Bank system is the most dynamically developing sector of economy of Kazakhstan. Level of penetration into economy (about 90 % of gross national product) is comparable to indicators of the European Union countries. The bank system of Kazakhstan has passed three stages of formation in which result the state branch banks have been reorganized, institutional bases of banking are created, there were the first commercial banks, all operating banks of Kazakhstan have passed to the international standards regarding sufficiency of the capital of liquidity, quality of actives, level of management, accounting, introduction and information transfer.
